    From designing my husband's wedding outfits (two outfits made by Ramis's clothing brand, ALAG) - to discovering Ramis had a budding MC business on the side - our search for the perfect MC was short.     We started wedding planning thinking we had it all under control until we realised there are about 10,000 decisions to make, and Instagram makes all of them look important. Lost in the chaos, a family member casually asked, “So… who’s your MC?” That’s when it hit us: there was no way we could trust a brown uncle or aunty to stay on the mic and actually do the job. As fate (and our phones eavesdropping) would have it, we stumbled across Ramis’ page. We reached out, and from that point forward, it was smooth sailing. He didn’t just MC, he helped us structure the event, navigate family politics (a true Olympic sport), and create a vibe that went above and beyond our expectations.     We hired Ramis as the MC at our wedding after seeing him at another wedding - and he pulled through by doing an incredible job. He took the time to understand our cultural traditions and created a custom run sheet that reflected what we wanted. He included recommendations on how things should be done and what he has seen work / not work, timelines, etc. On the night, things were running late and the crowd wasn’t easy to handle, but Ramis took control, coordinated with the venue staff, and got everything back on track - so much so that even the venue managers praised his skills that by the end of the night, we were actually 5 min ahead of schedule whilst at one point we were running 30 min behind - he managed to do this by keeping everything in the runsheet. Ultimately Ramis kept the vibe fun with the right amount of humour and made the whole night flow smoothly. It wasn’t for him, the night could have gone down a different path.

    Firstly, if you are considering getting Ramis as a MC stop considering and just do it.

    The planning stage with him was amazing and so thorough. We really appreciated how much time and effort Ramis put into learning about us as a couple. Every call we had with him was structured and productive and we felt like we got a lot out of it. We also appreciated how during the events Ramis had everything just handled - it didn’t feel like he was coming to us with problems. He always was solution oriented and gave us only the necessary information we needed to know. There’s so much coordination that goes on behind the scenes but we didn’t feel or see any of that because he had everything sorted. He was also a calm and positive presence throughout the night. He never appeared stressed or flustered which was really important to us because it gave us the calm and confidence that everything was being handled. Another standout was Ramis’ Bhangra moves on the dancefloor. If you hire Ramis (which YOU 10000% should no questions asked) make sure you get him on the dancefloor. Warning he will outshine you because he is a spectacular dancer but the night will not be complete without it.
